Postpartum Yoga: 4 class in-person series
Postpartum Yoga: 4 class in-person series
This class is for all birthing people. The class will offer space to explore your body after giving birth, reengage with the pelvic floor and core, build up strength and stretch the areas that are tired from care-taking, ask questions, get resources, as well as time for rest. This class is recommended for folks that have been cleared by their provider to go back to movement practices and those who are no longer bleeding.
There will be time for check ins and to ask questions about resources. Mindfulness practices and nervous system support will also be woven into the sessions to aid in resourcing yourself during this tender time of transition. Your (not yet crawling or walking) baby is more than welcome to come to the class with you though it is a yoga class focused on the person who gave birth, rather than a “Baby and Me” type class. There are a few bouncers available for use and baby toys and me for holding babies if parents and baby would appreciate that. (One of the biggest treats for me!) This class will be capped at 12 students.
A recording of every class is sent to all participants so that if students have to miss a class or if they like a class and want to do it again- they have access. The videos are available for viewing as many time as one would like for 30 days.
Masks are optional.
Participants will have access to my yoga/pregnancy/birth/postpartum lending library during the series.
